I’ve worked with Rob on a number of content projects for MT Sobek and have always been impressed by his creativity, and passion for film-making and adventure. By knowing our brand on a personal level, he knows how to bring the right perspective to each of his films and works with guides to get the best shots—and fulfil his brief. Rob’s drone footage is stunning, his blogs are engaging, and he always extends reach by pushing out material across social media. We’ve been really pleased with the results. He is a real professional and always a pleasure to work with. Thanks Rob!
After working with many different content teams who weren’t able to capture our brand voice, I was extremely happy to meet Rob. I hired him to provide the creative direction for a short film about a team of GE executives immersing with students at an under-resourced school in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. The video he directed told the story powerfully and beautifully. He was able to get the perfect soundbites from our interview subjects and direct the videographers to capture amazing b-roll with limited equipment. Rob brings the creativity of an accomplished ad executive with the nimbleness of a web content creator to produce fabulous work that gets the job done. I will definitely be working with him again.
Rob Feakins did an extraordinary job directing the anthem video for the TNBC Foundation’s annual gala. The video fully captured the essence of our organization, while beautifully highlighting the evening’s esteemed honorees. We could not have asked for a more authentic yet refined representation of the foundation’s work. Mr. Feakins’ passion and talent elevated this project, resulting in a final product that captivated our organization’s leadership and supporters. We could not be more pleased.
Regional Hospice and Palliative Care hired Rob Feakins to create a mission focused video for our gala this past May 2018. We have known Rob for 2 years in his capacity as a patient care volunteer in our center and in our community, caring for hospice patients at the end of life. It was truly a thoughtful and meaningful experience working with Rob in his role as a documentary film maker where he took the essence of hospice care and was able to create a compelling story about our work, care and mission. Rob is a gifted visual storyteller.
I had the pleasure of working with Rob when he was the Chief Creative Officer/President at Publicis NY and I was one of his clients at Citi. Rob was not only an amazing leader of the creative department, he was a great partner to his clients. Rob listens, doesn’t over react, offers practical solutions and isn’t too precious about things. Rob will fight the good fight for work that he believes in and knows will drive results. Rob manages through ambiguity and chaos with grace. Problems, no matter the size are never an issue. His experience enables him to stay calm and make ideas even better.Under Rob’s leadership, we developed some of the strongest performing work, helping to grow brand preference for Citi. As a first time Olympic sponsor, Rob led the team to develop a fully integrated and beautiful campaign for Citi, across multiple lines of business. And yes, Citi bike launched in NYC with Rob’s team helping us design the bikes, and advertising campaign. Net-net, I owe much of the success I have had in my career to Rob. Working with Rob was a highlight of my time at Citi. I am truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to partner together, and hope to again in the future.
There are so many powerful stories out there that never get told or get told ineffectively. Rob has an amazing gift for bringing stories to life. He documented our recent mission trip to Louisiana, powerfully revealing the stories of some truly remarkable people who will be forever rebuilding their community. You will find that he is a gentle but intentional interviewer who helps mine the riches of the human story.
Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County recently worked with Rob Feakins (For All Humankind) to produce a short video about our organization. Rob was a real pleasure to work with. His years of experience were evident when he came on site and efficiently filmed a number of our volunteers, future homeowners and staff members. He was able to easily choose the best warehouse and construction site shots for filming. Rob worked with the footage to create a lovely video. Throughout the process, he offered us suggestions and fine-tuned the video to create exactly what we were looking for. We are delighted with the outcome. Thanks Rob!
In my role as President and CEO of the Ad Council I had the pleasure of working with Rob for many years in two important ways. First, he chaired our important Campaign Review Committee (CRC) that was responsible for approving work submitted from many agencies across the country. Rob always gave constructive feedback that made the work better. He had a great rapport with all the agency teams and with the Ad Council team. The second way I worked with Rob was in his capacity as Chief Creative Officer at Publicis, which developed several creative campaigns for the Ad Council pro bono. Rob always dedicated the agency’s best talent to our work and personally oversaw the campaign creative. His team’s work was always superb and effective in creating the ambitious positive social change that the campaign set out to achieve. I highly recommend Rob for his creative, management and collaboration.
The Ad Council was incredibly fortunate to have Rob dedicated to our mission. From his leadership as Chair of our Campaign Review Committee to the award winning, life changing PSA campaigns he developed on our behalf, Rob’s impeccable creative judgment and commitment to social causes was best in class!
Rob is a great creative and amazing agency partner. Some of my brand’s best work was done by him and his team. His collaborative style got the best out of his clients and his organization. The result was wonderful work that grew the business.
